Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina – The United States announced $1.8 million in COVID-19 assistance for Bosnia and Herzegovina through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to address vulnerabilities in the country’s response to the global pandemic.
Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo – Overall judicial effectiveness in Bosnia and Herzegovina – already deemed low by the public and the judiciary – fell last year for the first time in six years, particularly in respect to fighting corruption, according to the results of the 2020 Judicial Effectiveness Index of BiH (JEI-BiH) survey.

Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina – The United States today announced $750,000 in assistance to fight the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in Bosnia and Herzegovina through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to improve the country’s response to the pandemic, including surveillance, public communication, and diagnostics.
USAID’s TABLA project increases teachers’ capacity to incorporate critical thinking and applied knowledge in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEM) in Bosnia and Herzegovina. USAID’s implementing partner for this $5.5 million, three-year project is Save the Children BiH.
