On the occasion of this important jubilee, an exhibition entitled #20Years of Partnership – Creating Together showcased the partnerships that have been created during the past two decades throughout Serbia.
BELGRADE – Today Ambassador of the United States of America (USA), Mr Anthony Godfrey, Minister of Health, Dr Zlatibor Lončar, Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Serbia, Dr Marijan Ivanuša, Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Ms Francine Pickup, announced a new phase of US assistance for fight against COVID-19 in Serbia, in total amount of aproximetly 9.1 milion dollars.
Belgrade, October 28, 2021 - This year, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is celebrating twenty years of partnership with Serbia. Since 2001, USAID has invested $882 million to support Serbia’s economic and democratic development, as part of an overall $1.2 billion in U.S. Government assistance.
In partnership with Serbia’s Government, the private sector and civil society, USAID has implemented thousands of activities throughout Serbia to improve lives, create jobs and to support the country’s European Union integration aspirations.
BELGRADE – On October 9, 2021, the Coalition for Giving and the Serbian Philanthropy Forum marked the fourth National Day of Giving, with support from the United States Agency of International Development (USAID), by recognizing 34 companies, 12 civil society organizations and 12 media outlets that have contributed the most to the “Save Food, Save Humanity” campaign, or supported initiatives within the campaign.
