On March 21, Deputy Administrator Isobel Coleman will travel to Brussels, Belgium to meet with European Union and Belgian officials and participate in the European Union Humanitarian Forum. She will be joined by Sarah Charles, Assistant to the Administrator for the Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance. Together, they will highlight the U.S. Government’s leading role in response to global humanitarian needs, including coordinated efforts to respond to the humanitarian crisis resulting from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine

On March 23, Deputy Administrator Coleman will travel to Tbilisi, Georgia for a series of high-level meetings with Georgian government officials. She will also visit with local youth leaders and entrepreneurs. During the trip, she will discuss the ways USAID programming can support the Georgian people as they cope with the severe impact of Russia’s aggression on their security, economy and democratic aspirations.
