Administrator Power’s Meeting with Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre

Today, U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Samantha Power met with Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian relief agency. 

Administrator Power and Supervisor General Al Rabeeah discussed how to deepen coordination between their respective organizations to address growing humanitarian needs around the world, particularly the urgent humanitarian crisis in Yemen and the need for both continued funding and improvements in humanitarian access.  Additionally, they discussed opportunities to advance collaboration in support of development and humanitarian needs in Sudan and noted their shared concern about growing humanitarian needs in Lebanon.
