Administrator Samantha Power and USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack Participate in White House Briefing on American Leadership to End Hunger

On Thursday, October 21, Administrator Samantha Power and USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack will participate in a briefing call to discuss U.S. commitments at the UN Food Systems Summit and next steps toward reducing poverty and malnutrition and building more sustainable, resilient and inclusive food systems at home and abroad.

The call coincides with the recognition of events transpiring around the globe, aimed at focusing the world’s attention on issues related to hunger, food security, and food systems, including World Food Day 2021, Feed the Future Week, and the 2021 Borlaug Dialogue.
